Log | Day 4 Exhausted yet so Excited

I'm feeling so tired from my trip so let me just summarise this morning with the above photo : yes, I went to the Attack on Titan exhibition right on the very first day! Get certified as military member of brigade of your choice; mine is Military Police - totally blacked out on that as I meant to say Survey Corps but I don't even remember why I blurted that in the first place although Annie Leonhart is quite an interesting character.

I actually went to Sogo KL after my short trip to Suria KLCC yesterday to pick up more luggage carriers as I did some shopping and quite a coincidence as I was able to find similar designs to the two that I've brought from home.

Of course, I had to get some protective sleeves for all of them as I dropped them off for cargo.

Absolute treat for myself is this Peach beverage that I got from Nando's yesterday. I really don't know why am I so obsessed with peach beverages.

Once I was done with dropping my luggage carriers at the counter, I went to a cafe nearby that serve TWG teas and I've ordered this cempedak cake despite not having anything for lunch as I was going to have dinner while onboard.

I guess that's all for my second KL trip this year and I'm not sure when I'm coming back to the capital city again.

Log | Day 2 Bandai Namco Asia Fair 2024 at St. Giles Hotel and Tea Time at TWG Tea, The Gardens Mall

For the second day of my KL trip, I attended the new product presentation by Bandai Namco Asia Fair 2024 as my business partner is fully committed to his 9-5 office work so this is where I come in. Of course, we couldn't take any photos during the presentation but all I can say I'm very much excited to see lots of my favourite characters being brought into their figurine lineups for the rest of this year. I've been occupied with work so much I haven't been able to share about my figurines lately so hopefully I can carve out some free time when I get back.

Outfit for today's event after quite a mishaps during last year's event as I didn't wear formal attire. No mistake this time!

I didn't take my morning coffee during breakfast this morning so I've gotten my fill at the St. Giles hotel while waiting at their lobby.

I didn't expect these loafers can be so hurtful but this might be the first and last time I'm wearing them. So pretty but I really couldn't take the pain from those blisters anymore! Definitely my fault as I didn't break these shoes before actually wearing them to event like this where I've done lots of walking around the event area.

The view from 29th floor.

The toilets are so nice indeed hence this bathroom selfie! Not going to lie, cried a little bit here. lol

After the event, I dropped by my favourite place to have teas in the world : TWG Tea located right here in the Gardens Mall, just outside the hotel's lobby to pick up my mum's favourite red tea which is Eternal Summer tea.

I also took this chance to wind down with my favourite green tea blend and some macaroons.

Then I ran to Skechers in Mid Valley Megamall; literally barefooted as I tried some of their sandals and finally settled on those black pair. After I've liberated myself from those hellish loafers, I went to pick up some clothes for a friend in ZARA where I got some side-eyes from local Malays outside the store. I guess the boycott is still going strong here.

Arrived at the hotel around 8 at night only to be surprised by this dessert in my shopping bag! This tasted so good especially after I've been painfully running around today.

Stay tuned for the next update!

Log | Day 1 of Work Trip to Putrajaya

Phew! Finally settled down after I've had my lovely dinner at Nando's Malaysia right here in Mid Valley Megamall. I wasn't sure if the chicken here is different compared to the ones back home but I'd sure finished my quarter chicken in less than 10 minutes or maybe I'm just hungry after all the walking I've done today.

Debuting my favourite trench coat that I got from UNIQLO recently. Loving the colour so much!

My flight was at 9.45 this morning and I've arrived around 1 in the afternoon.

I didn't take my coffee early this morning so I've ordered my current favourite from ZUS Coffee and I'm absolutely loving their collaboration with Santan as this iced Spanish latte was served with coconut milk. Yes to that!

Most of my work outfits lately are either browns or beige so I've been wearing this Daniel Wellington's number a lot. I wonder why they closed their store in Suria Sabah shopping mall actually and I had to replace the battery at local watch store.

First thing first right after landing at the airport is to grab my usual soft pretzels and lemonade to get rid of my air-sickness. Next stop, Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah at Putrajaya.

I've always loved their soothing waiting lobby area.

Had to wait for like an hour before I could meet the KKDW officer and then I've booked my Grab ride directly to my hotel at Mid Valley city.

Home for the next 4 days : Cititel Mid Valley! I usually stay here whenever I visit KL because it's safe and I can stay out quite late for movies or hanging out with some friends at cafes that are located within walking distances from this hotel.

Stay tuned for day 2 updates tomorrow!

Log | Iftar at Sushi King Malaysia, Suria Sabah Shopping Mall

It's been awhile since I last had chicken katsu at Sushi King and I've been feeling melancholic lately as I used to hang out with some friends at this restaurant hence this visit. I got that beverage for free after scoring high in their game so woohoo!

Tried their latest twist to my absolute favourite Golden Balls; here comes the spicy version!

Also their mentaiko version! Tasted so nice!

But of course, the original Golden Balls are always the best for egg-based dish obsessed like myself.

Here's the chicken katsu that I've been craving so much lately! Lightly seasoned just the way I like it.

Log | Iftar at Daily Coffee, Aeropod, Kota Kinabalu again

We were craving pastas these days so of course, we went to our favourite pasta spot at Aeropod, Kota Kinabalu.

I've had my salmon pasta with extra spices this time and it was so good!
